Theme Greek translation problem - by slickdream

My WordPress instance is in Greek so Woocommerce too.
I am using legenda-child theme.
Now I try to translation the strings of the Legenda theme.
Following the documentation guidelines, I upload el_GR.po and el_GR.mo to /wp-content/themes/legenda/languages and adding $locale=’el_GR’; to wp-config.php
When I view my website the Legenda theme strings are translated but Woocommerce strings have changed to English again.

Please help

Hello,

What language prefix do you use for Woocommerce translation files?
It should be the same as you wrote in wp-config.php file – el_GR. So rename Woocommerce translation files and check the site then.

Wordpress is Greek so Woocommerce was installed in Greek by default.
I have not changed anything or created any language files.

Hello,

I’ve renamed theme translation files to el.po and el.mo as your woocommerce files have “el” prefix instead of el_GR.

Please check your site now.
