Theme files out of date and issues on checkout

In the dashboard we have the following error.

Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files.

These are the files its complaining about

royal/woocommerce/cart/cart-totals.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.6,
royal/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 2.3.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.8,
royal/woocommerce/checkout/review-order.php version 2.1.8 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.0,

In addition in checkout the ajax looks like its not working when you add and remove a coupon it requires the browser to refresh to show.

I have removed the child theme in case this was the issue (its back in again) and the errors were still there so the out of date issue has to be a parent theme issue.

Hello,

Please delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and reupload it from a new theme package which you downloaded at themeforest site.

Thanks for the reply.

The error message has gone, but on checkout if you try and remove a coupon, the screen does not show the coupon has been removed until the screen is refreshed. To me this looks like an AJAX issue. (Its works fine on the cart screen)

Also in System status it still shows

Hello,
our theme uses modified Woocommerce template files, thats why file versions differ. It does not affect front end so you can just skip this message.

For checkout coupon issue:
please temporary switch to default wordpress theme and check, will this error appear with default theme too?

This issue is only present in the royal theme, when a default theme is used instead functionality works as expected.

I have also downloaded and installed a fresh royal theme.

I note other people are citing the out of date template issue and my gut feeling is as one of these is checkout, this is the cause of what I see as an AJAX issue.

Please confirm how we sort this.

Also on your website contact forms are not working (did not know if you realised). Also in chrome (have replicated it a couple of times on different machines, but does not affect ie) when you try and come to 8themes, your getting redirected to a shopping site.

Please clear browser cache and try to remove coupon code on Checkout page now.
