My client Essential 3 has been developing a site based on Woo Press for quite some time now. We are very close to launch but have encountered a tricky issue with a mandatory plugin.
Many hours of trouble-shooting have been spent between my programmer and the plugin programmers, who discovered the following:

We’ve done an investigation on the issue you’ve described and from what we can see the WooPress – 8theme is causing conflicts, as this theme is ignoring a codex rule:
“Do not try to use your own version of a JavaScript library that is already bundled with WordPress. Doing so may break core functionality and conflict with plugins.”
Please try to reach the theme author to fix the issue in general.

We are at a place where we may need to abandon this theme and look for something else, but my hope is that you might be able to provide assistance. Is there any way the theme can use the standard Javascript?
Thank you, Erin
