Hello, I have a problem with the Spotlight categories widget on my shop page. It only appears when I edit the page and when I select a category other than ‘View All’. Do you know why it doesn’t work in preview? Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.

If the problem persists, could you please provide FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Warm Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello Alex,

    I think I didn’t express well myself.

Here is the problem : I don’t see categories on the menu on shop page alias boutique page (in “view all” or Voir tout in french, you’ll see on capture).

Menu is display correctly in a category but not in shop page.

    Don’t know if it’s clear ?
I wonder if there is a Elementor or wordpress settings that say that on shop page, all categories are not display ?

    Dear @Deborah,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We kindly recommend contacting WooCommerce support regarding this issue, as even the default WooCommerce shortcode does not display any categories on the specified page. While the categories appear correctly in the editor (as shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/Qm1jxegwG6Ha), they are not visible on the frontend (see: https://prnt.sc/Ga6QFYkvoiST). This suggests that the issue is likely related to WooCommerce settings or configuration, rather than our theme.

For troubleshooting purposes, we suggest temporarily deactivating all non-essential plugins on your website to determine whether one of them may be affecting the display. Given that you currently have approximately 45 active plugins, it is possible that one of them is modifying the query and preventing the product categories from being shown.

We hope this helps, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
