Without making any changes, I found some parts of the site (such as the menu and widgets) to the demo version of the theme.

Could you, please, explain in more detail? Maybe provide screenshots of how it was before for better understanding.

It’s because this morning I have requested a backup of the past days from my hosting service. However, in essence it was as if all the customization options of Xstore had been reset, while instead from the backend I saw my custom widgets but from the frontend they were broken. The support of my hosting service confirmed that the logs have not noticed substantial changes to the site in the last hours, so I have no idea what could have happened

Hello,

That’s strange. Did you use File generator option (XStore > File generator)? Because if you did not choose all the necessary elements and generated styles file it could be the reason of the issue.
