Hi there. So far I think this problem is isolated to a variable product with 99 variations – https://asphair.com/product/new-infiniti-regular-shades/

The more shades are added to the cart, the slower the loading time becomes until it jams up completely and customers are presented with a 504 Gateway Timeout.

The data below shows cart page load speed against no. of shades(tubes) added:
    1 tube – 1.64sec
    7 tubes – 3.07sec
    11 tubes – 6.52sec
    14 tubes – 20.7sec
    19 tubes – 41.37sec … you get the idea.

When I switch to Storefront theme I can add as many shades (100+) to the cart as I like with NO effect on site performance. So this issue must be theme related?

I have tried disabling dynamic caching as recommended by my hosting provider – no joy.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

You are using the Classico theme, not XStore – https://www.8theme.com/forums/classico-wordpress-support-forum/

Please record a video of the problem and provide FTP access also.

    Regards

Sorry, but we no longer support the Classico theme and would recommend you switch to the XStore theme.

    Regards

Okay, but you asked me for a video of the problem and FTP access. Does that mean you are helping me or not?

In addition, I paid to extend support for Classico Theme via Themeforest not long ago. At that point there was no indication that Classico was no longer supported. I think as a gesture of good will you could help me with this issue. After which I’ll switch to XStore of course.

I asked for access, but it was before consultation with the dev team, sorry.
Classico is not on Themeforest, it was removed a long time ago, when did you pay, could you provide an invoice or screenshot with the date?

    Regards

On 10th Nov 22 I clicked on ‘extend support’ on Classico theme in the downloads section of my Themeforest account. It took me through to purchase Xstore, which i did think was odd at the time. But seeing as you replied to 3 other tickets of mine in the last 2 months I assumed the extension had worked. At no time was I informed that Classico had been scrapped!

If i switch to Xstore I anticipate there will be a fair bit of work to do to get things looking right and working correctly. Would you mind supplying me with a best practice guide for the change over?

Additionally, I am happy to pay a fee for you to look at my variable product issue. Is that possible?

    Hello, @Roobinda,

Sorry for the inconvenience, but we do not support Classico anymore. We recommend switching to another theme like (XStore) which is the most powerful WordPress Theme.

Yes, we will surely help you in switching the theme, you can start on a fresh new WordPress as well from scratch to avoid inconvenience.

Further, If you want paid Customization services submit a customization request to WPKraken team.

    Regards 8Themes Team.
