The categories page is not showing; I am being redirected to the homepage.

After accessing the categories, it takes me to the homepage, and it appears that the problem is related to the theme, or it might be a conflict between the category link and the template.

To provide temporary wp-admin access, please follow these steps:
– Create an account via Dashboard (Users > Add new) with administrator role. Refer to the following image for guidance: http://prntscr.com/s3rc9m
– Provide us with the username and password for the newly created account via the Private Content area. Refer to the following image for guidance: http://prntscr.com/s5mao7
– Any email address can be used for the new account, it does not have to be your personal email.

Issue: Product Category Pages Redirect to Homepage

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with my website. When I click on any product category page (for example, the Lighting category), instead of opening the category products page, it automatically redirects me to the homepage.

I need the category URLs to open the correct product category page and display the products within that category, not redirect visitors to the homepage.

Example:

* Expected: https://example.com/product-category/lighting/ → Opens the Lighting category page.
* Actual: Redirects to the homepage.

Please investigate and help resolve this issue.

Hello @falah,

We have checked and re-saved your permalink settings at https://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php, also saved the changes in woocommerce settings -> products. Then we checked and the urls are correctly display the pages you are located on. Also, as we see your archive product template contains the same widgets that you can see on shop or taxonomy archives (screenshots attached). So, if you need to modify the content of your archive template builder you can open XStore Builders -> Archive products builder (builder documentation: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/)

لا مازالت المشكله اعتقد ان المشكله لم تفهم بشكل صحيح أواجه مشكلة في المتجر حيث إن جميع روابط التصنيفات لا تعمل بالشكل الصحيح. عند الضغط على أي تصنيف من الموقع، مثل تصنيف الإنارات، يتم تحويلي تلقائياً إلى الصفحة الرئيسية بدلاً من الانتقال إلى صفحة التصنيف التي تحتوي على المنتجات المرتبطة به.

المفترض أن يؤدي النقر على التصنيف إلى فتح صفحة التصنيف الخاصة به وعرض جميع المنتجات الموجودة داخله، ولكن حالياً يتم إعادة توجيه المستخدم إلى الصفحة الرئيسية في كل مرة.

مثال على المشكلة:

* عند الضغط على تصنيف “الإنارات”.
* المتوقع: فتح صفحة تصنيف الإنارات وعرض منتجات الإنارة.
* النتيجة الحالية: يتم تحويلي إلى الصفحة الرئيسية للموقع.

يرجى فحص إعدادات الروابط الدائمة (Permalinks)، وقواعد إعادة التوجيه (Redirects)، وإعدادات تصنيفات المنتجات في WooCommerce للتأكد من أن روابط التصنيفات تعمل بشكل صحيح وتفتح صفحاتها المخصصة بدلاً من إعادة التوجيه إلى الصفحة الرئيسية.

The issue is still not resolved. I believe the problem may not have been fully understood.

I am experiencing an issue with my WooCommerce store where all product category links are not functioning correctly. When I click on any category, such as the “Lighting” category, I am automatically redirected to the homepage instead of being taken to the category page that contains the related products.

The expected behavior is that clicking a category should open its dedicated category page and display all products assigned to that category. However, the current behavior redirects users to the homepage every time.

Example of the issue:

• When clicking on the “Lighting” category.
• Expected result: Open the Lighting category page and display all Lighting products.
• Current result: Redirects to the website homepage.

Please check the following:

* Permalink settings in WordPress/WooCommerce.
* Any redirect rules that may be affecting category URLs.
* WooCommerce product category settings.
* Theme or plugin conflicts that could be causing category pages to redirect to the homepage.

Please ensure that product category URLs open their correct category pages instead of redirecting visitors to the homepage.

If possible, could you please provide me with the direct URL structure for a product category page?

For example, I would like a link that opens only the “Lighting” category page and displays the products within that category, instead of redirecting to the homepage.

This will help me verify whether the issue is related to the category URL structure, permalink settings, or a redirect configuration.
