    I can’t see the categories of products created in WooCommerce product categories.

    Hi, I purchased the xstore theme. I’m editing the template. I’ve uploaded products to the store. I’ve also created the product categories. However, when I view the page in the live store, the categories can’t be displayed in the category filters. I also don’t see a widget that allows me to enter product attributes. I’m also seeing a serious error: when I view product images, the image names are also visible. This shouldn’t be happening.

    I look forward to your support, please.

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1/ We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If the issue persists, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with FTP access so we can investigate further.
    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    2/ Custom CSS code can be used:

    .elementor-slideshow__title {
        display: none !important;
    }

    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/additional-customisation/optimal-placement-for-custom-css-code/

    Warm Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hi, thanks for your response. Solution 2 did work for me, adding the CSS.

    As for the first, I don’t know anything about FTP, but I sent you the WordPress dashboard account. Please help me.

    Hello,

    Thank you for providing access to your WordPress dashboard. We understand that you may not be familiar with FTP, and we truly appreciate your cooperation.

    However, please note that using the File Manager within the WordPress dashboard is not the most appropriate method for resolving the current issue. Even a minor typographical error in the code could potentially cause a fatal error on the website—an issue we would not be able to fix without FTP access.

    We kindly ask that you contact your hosting provider and request the creation of FTP credentials. You may also share a link to this conversation with them, as they will understand what is required and should be able to set it up for you without any difficulty. Once you receive the FTP details, please forward them to us so we can proceed accordingly.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello, dear friend: I’m sharing the requested information. I’m having new issues with the xstore issue. I’ve created a separate CONSTRUCTION page. I’ve placed filters there using the xstore widgets, such as price filters and category filters, but neither are visible on the live page. Only the WooCommerce widgets for category and brand filters are visible in the backend, but not in the live page view. I’ve also noticed that there isn’t an xstore attribute filter widget. However, I use the same WooCommerce widget, and it still isn’t visible on the live page. I also don’t see a development tool to create information tables. I’ve searched and can’t find it, as I need to add a technical sheet for each product.

    Thank you very much. I would appreciate your support.

    Dear @Juan Zapata,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    We would like to clarify that the widgets are not appearing because, according to the official WooCommerce documentation (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-widgets/), WooCommerce widgets are designed to display only on archive pages such as Shop, Tag, and Category pages.

    The “Construcción” page you are referring to is a custom page created using a Page Builder and is not recognized as an archive page by WooCommerce. As a result, the widgets are not rendered on that page. This behavior is not related to our theme, as our widgets rely on WooCommerce’s PHP classes, which inherently restrict widget visibility to archive pages.

    For further assistance or to request additional functionality, we recommend submitting your inquiry directly to the WooCommerce support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    We appreciate your understanding.

    Best regards,

    This is the WooCommerce store page. As it tells me, the WooCommerce widgets are designed to display only on archive pages, but they can’t be displayed on the live page. Especially not the XSTORE THEME widgets. Please, I’d like your support. I have to present the progress this week on building the store. In any case, I’d also like to know how to format WordPress by removing the XSTORE theme and reinstalling it, although I’ve already wasted a lot of time on the build.

    Thank you very much. I look forward to your response.

    Dear @Juan Zapata,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    Please note that the Shop page displays the correct widgets on the frontend when using the default WooCommerce shop page. However, if you are using a custom-built page, the sidebar filters and related widgets may not appear as expected.

    You can verify which page is set as your main Shop page by checking the WooCommerce settings. This page serves as the origin Shop page. For your reference, please see the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/mUmnHCu2Atuy.

    Additionally, if you would like to customize the XStore titles or branding, we recommend installing the White Label Branding plugin. You can find more information and installation instructions here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/white-label-branding-plugin/

    Should you have any further questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
