Thank you page/success page – how to customize it?

Hello team,

Hope you are well. I was wondering if you could help me out. I am finalizing the webshop for a client, and we want to customize the thank you page/ success page.

However, I am unable to find an option which allows me to make customization in the way I want to.

Bellow, please find attached an image of the desired look of the thank you page/success page

can you help me resolve one thing: When I test payments I get one confirmation page for cash on delivery method, but another one that just doesn’t work for users on card payment method. Imagine doing the payment on somebody’s page and the only thing you get is one line of text saying thank you. I also cannot seem to find the success page URL since the URL has some additions or some kind of overwriting. I think this is xstore handling since the card payment pulls the special thankyou-advanced.php template.

Please check how it works when the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront is activated on the site.
If you get the same behavior, it means the situation is independent of our theme.

In general, you have the ability to rewrite the following files according to your needs: xstore/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou-advanced.php to child-theme/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou-advanced.php. You can make your improvements there.
