Hello,

I have a multisite installation in English, French and German.

There are some strings that are displayed in English in the French/German websites.

I’ve search the theme files and saw that these strings are hard-coded.

A list of strings that are displayed in English:
Product information
Description
Product files
Related product
Search

How can they be translated?

What plugin did you use to translate theme?

I didn’t use a plugin, I just created a site in German, and set the site language to German

In this case, I would recommend you to install Loco Translate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
After activation of the plugin go to Loco Translate >Themes > select Legenda theme. Press “Add new language” http://prntscr.com/kbr9ms. Translate strings http://prntscr.com/kbra2l and Save.

Thanks, texts are being translated

Except: NO PRODUCTS WERE FOUND
Cannot be translated for some reason, it always shows in English

BTW, how can I hide the breadcrumbs?

Do you want to hide the breadcrumbs on all pages or on a separate one? Please provide URL or screenshot for better understanding.

also, I cannot hide comments for the entire site although I’ve turned them off in Settings/Discussion

Select the specific post from All Posts and click Edit Post. Below the writing area, you’ll see a heading Discussion. If you cannot see this option, enable “Discussion” under “Screen Options”. In the Discussion box, uncheck “Allow comments” http://prntscr.com/kcqx38

Thanks, it worked, but there was a text:’Comments are closed’ which I had to remove by changing the translation and leave the text blank.

One last thing I think:
I cannot see breadcrumbs in the uk site, and I can see them in the other sites: /fr and /de

It is not a css issue because I see the that html elements doesn’t exist in the page in the /uk site

Please try to edit Shop page > Page Layout > Show Page Heading.

I have a similar problem with the translate to Russian. used the “loco translate” plugin. the translation is not correct. on page after translation:
