Hi there,
We’ve installed a plugin recommended by WooThemes called Say What? for text changes, as we would like to change the words ‘Cart’ and ‘Basket’ to ‘Bag’. However, it doesn’t seem to be working and so I wanted to check that the text domain for strings relating to the Cart/Basket is ETHEME_DOMAIN? Any help appreciated.

No, it still doesn’t work.. I guess I’ll need to try another plugin, but do I at least have the text domain correct – is the text domain for strings relating to the Cart/Basket ETHEME_DOMAIN?

If you’re talking about cart widget in the header you can change “Cart” text in the file wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/woo.php (line 884), edit the code <?php _e('Cart', ETHEME_DOMAIN); ?>

Thanks for that, but no, we are looking to change the word ‘Cart’ and ‘Basket’ to ‘Bag’ EVERYWHERE that they appear, not just in the header. No worries, we will keep trying..

In this case you can try to change it using .po file in wp-content/themes/legenda/languages.

Thanks Eva, we’ve mostly managed with the Say What? plugin recommended by WooThemes.. the only ‘Add to Cart’ we can’t find the text domain for is on the products page layout and featured products on the home page.
However, in trying to change this final ‘Add to Cart’ to ‘Add to Bag’ I noticed that the button doesn’t seem to be working properly.. If I click the ‘Add to Cart’ button, nothing happens, and the cart amount on the top row does not change, however, the product has been added to the cart – I can see it if I view the cart page. Any advice appreciated,

So, if you click the ‘Add to Cart’ button under ‘Featured Pieces’ on the Home page, the page does not refresh and the bag on the top header row does not change from the current amount.

Thanks for the screen grab. Technical think that you are entering the wrong details for host and username (we can’t see what is entered for password). I have re-entered the FTP details in private message with an additional note.

The problem was caused by the plugin “Product Enquiry Pro for WooCommerce”. I’ve deactivated it. Please clear browser cache and check “Add to Bag” button now.

Unfortunately (for us!) we do need an enquiry button. We purchased Product Enquiry Pro for WooCommerce so we have access to support. Before I go back to them, it would be helpful if you were able to say a few words on what the problem with the plugin is exactly? If you have that information? No worries if not..
