Tax Not Showing + Cart.php version discrepancy

No matter what setting is configured in tax settings, tax is not being showing in the checkout cart. I did a system status and noticed that cart.php is out of date in the themed version which leads me to believe that is the issue. I downloaded the latest files from themeforest at 5/17/2015 14:00 EST.

Please advise.

Hello,

Please delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and reupload it from the theme package which you downloaded.

No didn’t work and didn’t think it would because it just replaced the same outdated file. Tried downloading a fresh copy….same issue, no tax showing up.

Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials and give us a product link which doesn’t have tax shown.

I cleared browser cache, tried multiple browsers and even tried it on mobile devices, same issue. No tax line item showing up in checkout.

Either we are looking at completely different things or the issue I am describing isn’t understood by you guys.

Steps to take.

Navigate to website
Click shop
Add any product to cart
Click Checkout
I am expecting a line item that says Tax or Sales Tax on the right above the total.

I have also tried different states, zips just to see if anything at all will show up.

Hello,

The same issue persists with default WordPress theme, you can check it yourself, just activate Twenty Fifteen theme in Appearance > Themes.
In this case we recommend you to contact Woocommerce support team as this is their configuration.
