Hi, I added the Royal theme to my site per your FTP instructions and am receiving the following syntax error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/31/5499731/html/howtowriteabook/wp-content/themes/royal/framework/theme-functions.php on line 2935

Please advise.

This error might be caused by old php version on the server. Please contact your hosting provider and ask to change php version to 5.3 or higher.

I’ve updated the php to version 5.4 and now I’m getting the following errors:
