I’m experiencing an issue after updating to the latest version of the [Theme Name] theme.

    Details:

I updated the theme to the newest release via WordPress.

After the update, I am still seeing the “Theme update available” alert in my dashboard.

Additionally, my website is now showing a 500 Internal Server Error, and I cannot access my WordPress admin panel.

I confirmed that the update completed, but the problem persists.

    Steps I’ve Taken:

    Cleared cache and refreshed.

    Checked via cPanel (server-side).

    Request:
    Could you please check why:

The theme still shows an update alert even after updating.

The 500 error occurred right after the update.

I’d appreciate your urgent help, as this is impacting my website

    Thank you

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Warm Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello,

    Thank you for your message.

Let’s start by providing the FTP access, as we did not see it included in your last message. Once we have FTP access, we will be able to investigate the issue with your WordPress dashboard and assist you further.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hello,

We are using FileZilla and were able to connect, but the FTP directory is empty – https://prnt.sc/11VeeWcQSw3T

Please check the destination folder of the user, we need access to your WP installation.

    Warm Regards,

    Hello,

If this method allows us to gain access to your WordPress installation, please proceed accordingly. Alternatively, you may ask your hosting provider to create separate access credentials for our team.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team
