Speed Optimization – menus changing across mobile, desktop

Hi there,

I am using the suggested speed optimization and w3 Total plugin with the Theme but would appreciate assistance from you to look into the best options/settings. I have read the documentation and set it up as per my knowledge, but there are glitches coming in with the layout of the desktop version and mobile layout after edits and then clearing cache…desktop version of the site sometimes will go to a semi-mobile version with hamburger menu instead of the usual menus. And when desktop returns to normal, the mobile goes to desktop menu….)the site has launched and it’s a huge concern for me. I’ve deactivated minify and reverse proxy caching and hope that the issue is resolved by doing so, but would really appreciate your assistance. Is this possible?

Hello,

I created footer using Elementor and disabled WPBakery page builder. There is no need to keep enabled 2 page builders, it slows down the site speed.

Also, I enabled modification and optimization settings in the cache plugin.

Hi,

Thanks, but there are some pages set up using WP Bakery…Like FAQ? https://www.xtraclothingandshoes.co.za/faq/ – I’ve redone it now using Elementor, but is there a way to still have the toggle within the 3 tabs categories? the toggle icon has also disappeared when viewing the page but shows when editing in Elementor. the text divider element shows the h2 when editing, but when the page is updated and viewed, it shows small text titles.

the variation gallery plugin is also now not showing the variation gallery images on left, as per setting, but at the bottom.

Good day,

After a soft launch of the website last week, we have a lot of feedback about the site being very slow. would you recommend upgrading to the pro version of the w3 plugin? what are suggestions do you have? Would you be able to assist with these adjustments for the speed optimization? Kindly advise at your earliest convenience. Should we opt for AMP for mobile and redesign those pageS? We would really appreciate your support and input.

Try to check your site from another PC. Do you have this issue with another browser?

If you want to buy a cache plugin I would recommend you to take a look at the WPRoket plugin. Also, you can submit speed optimization request here.

Hi

We have contacted an additional developer to assist with the speed optimization and setting up CDN, but now on clearing the cache, the mobile menu is showing on desktop and desktop menu on mobile. How did you fix this previously? So that we can also change it ourselves, if this happens again.
