    Dear Support,

We are using Xstore + litespeed cache + wordfence + Cloud flare. these could possibly impcat page speed.

we have tried optimizing cloud flare and litespeed cache. but couldn’t get optimal results.

    see screen shots.

in some cases performance metrics are showing good but in real it is taking too long. and even with good metrics screen shots image didn’t loadup till end. (example: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-ayurvedaholic-com-product-patanjali-isabgol-100-g/csruitbc5j?form_factor=mobile)

plz guide if we there are some best settings or a difference in image size or theme type or optimizing plugin or removing plugin can help us get best page speed.

    Hi Abhinandan,

Good day and warm greetings from our team!

We’re pleased to inform you that your website is already showing good results. We recommend continuing to move forward in the following direction to further improve performance.

Please note that making changes to your website and optimizing its speed goes beyond the scope of Envato support policy. However, we are happy to guide you on the best practices and direction to take:

    1) Optimize all images on your website. We suggest installing the image optimization plugin that we recommend in the XStore Plugin Installer. Please keep in mind that the images you see during testing may differ from those scanned by Google’s bots. There may be images that are not visible to you but still affect performance.

    2) Analyze your server’s performance. There may be occasional downtimes, for example during the night or when backups are being created. These issues can cause certain pages to show performance problems in tools like Google PageSpeed Insights or Google Search Console.

We hope this information helps you move in the right direction. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hi Abhinandan,

Sure, to improve mobile performance scores, we recommend the following:

    – Disable unnecessary animations, as they can impact loading speed and performance on mobile devices.
    – Use lightweight elements and avoid heavy media files where possible.
    – Consider enabling AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) as it can significantly enhance mobile loading speed and user experience.

If you need assistance with any of these steps, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help.

    Best Regards,

    Hello @Abhinandan,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to inform you that the main image on your homepage (non-AMP version) is currently not displaying, as shown in the attached screenshot. This issue is likely due to missing or outdated image thumbnails. To resolve this, we recommend regenerating your images using a plugin such as Regenerate Thumbnails Advanced (https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails-advanced/) or a similar tool.

Additionally, regarding the lazy load functionality you wish to exclude, please note that the setting you are attempting to disable pertains to browser-level lazy loading. However, the actual lazy loading behavior is being managed by your caching plugin. We suggest reviewing your cache plugin settings to properly exclude specific images from lazy loading.

Please also be aware that the AMP version of your website is developed in accordance with the strict guidelines set by the AMP Project (https://amp.dev/). These guidelines limit the use of certain HTML tags and styles to ensure compatibility and validation by Google. To meet these requirements, we have implemented a universal layout for specific pages, making them fully AMP-compliant and optimized for mobile devices.

Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,

    Hi XStore Support Team,

    I hope you’re doing well.

I’m currently experiencing a JavaScript error on our website that appears to be originating from the XStore theme. The error message is:

    Code
Uncaught TypeError: o.update is not a function
    at MutationObserver.i (etheme.min.js)
This error seems to be triggered by a MutationObserver and is affecting the performance of our site—particularly during page load. We’ve noticed delays in rendering and interactivity, and suspect this issue may be contributing to that.

Here’s what we’ve done so far:

Verified that the theme and bundled plugins are up to date

    Tested with third-party plugins disabled

Checked the Coverage tab in DevTools, which shows a high percentage of unused CSS and JS

Confirmed the error occurs consistently across multiple browsers

We’re using the standard XStore theme setup with minimal customizations. Please let us know:

If this is a known issue

Whether there’s a patch or workaround available

If you need access to a staging site for further investigation

    Looking forward to your guidance.

This JavaScript error might be causing delays in page load by interrupting key functions during rendering.

    Hello @Abhinandan,

We hope this message finds you well.

The JavaScript issues you are currently experiencing in the browser console appear to be related to the configuration of your LiteSpeed Cache plugin. Specifically, the problem seems to stem from the combination of scripts into a single file.

As a temporary troubleshooting step, we recommend disabling the LiteSpeed Cache plugin to determine whether the issue persists. If disabling the plugin resolves the problem, we suggest reviewing the plugin’s settings. Please note that not all scripts are compatible with combination, so it may be necessary to exclude certain scripts from this process.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    hi Support Team,

I guess you were right litespeed’s one feature was causing me this issue.

page speed is okay now. in order to improve mobile score, Can we use AMP plugin (inbuilt with Xstore) too with these settings.

    Hello @Abhinandan,

    Thank you for your update.

We’re glad to hear that disabling the “Load JS Deferred” option resolved the issue and your page speed has improved.

Regarding your question about using the AMP plugin included with XStore: Yes, you can certainly enable the AMP plugin to help improve your mobile performance score. However, please note that AMP has its own limitations and may not support all custom features or third-party scripts. We recommend testing it thoroughly on a staging site before applying it to your live website to ensure compatibility and desired performance.

For any new questions we suggest you to submit new topics without mixing the content in current one.

If you need any assistance with the setup or have further questions, feel free to reach out.
