    Hi,

On my site, there are some areas where the user has the ability to type into a text field. Instead of just entering a space when the user clicks the spacebar, the theme scrolls down on the page instead.

There are also other pages where the spacebar just doesn’t work inside a text field.

Standard spacebar functionality returns to normal when I switch to a different theme.

How do I tell this theme to not alter my spacebar functionality???

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.

Make sure that you use the latest theme and plugin versions. Also, try to disable 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins) and then check the issue.

Yes, it’s not related to the plugins. (changing to the 2016 theme, the spacebar works as expected)

I disabled the “smooth scroll” feature in the theme options, so the pages do not scroll anymore; but the spacebar still doesn’t work in text fields.

    Hello @bmacko

Your theme version is 3.1. Please update theme to the latest 3.2 version from themeforest. as well as plugins from our site
Also pay attention that upgrading our theme requires reactivating it and setting up again installation wizard.
Please skip installation wizard setup during theme activation to save your theme options and make screenshots of widgets areas as they can be cleaned in fresh installed theme version.
Here you may watch how to perform update

The theme update solved the issue. I didn’t know what theme version I had, because both the Theme Options area and also the style.css file were saying the theme version was 0.0.1 (and still does after the update).

    Anyways, thanks for your help!
