Some problems with the theme - by MartaIraola

Hello,

We have been working with this theme for our new website and we have detected some problems:

1- Footer: the footer doesn’t appear in the products page and the products. We have already checked that it is selected in the “Page layout” section. How can we solve this?

2 – We are not going to have coupons on the shop. We have disabled coupons in the woocommerce options, but the checkout page still has the header with the “have a coupon?” text. How can we delete it?

3 – We are using WPML to translate the website to spanish. Using the string translation plugin we have managed to translate everything except for the cart page. There are two sentences “Your cart is currently empty” and “You have not added any items in your shopping cart” that don’t appear for translation. How can we do this? Should we ask WPML or is it something related to the theme?

4 – If we try to leave a comment in a product, it gives an error message saying: “Por favor califica el producto.” which means “please rate the product”. Why does this appear? There is no rating for the product. We just want to have comments with text, no ratings.

Hello,

1. You should add Static Block widget into “Footer 1” or “Footer 2” area in Appearance > Widgets to make footer shown on products page.

2. Please add this code in custom.css file:

h3.underlined { display: none !important; }

3. Go to WPML > String Translation > click “Traducir los textos de las pantallas de administración »” at the bottom of the page, search for the needed text: http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/15/0622/h_1434986630_9028297_fbaa02eb6a.png and don’t forget to save the changes (the button is at the bottom of the page).
After that the text will appear in String Translation section.

4. The same issue persists with default WordPress theme too. You should ask Woocommerce support concerning this problem.

Hello Eva,

1 – Now the footer appears in the products, but why is it not aligned with the rest of the page, like in the normal pages? Here is an example of a product: http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/348001/dc61b8a9951d99749a3e0d038371ce6e

Please check attentively your modifications in the child theme folder.
