    Hello.

I wish I could add to my header menu two social icons, the first linked to my facebook page and the other one to my twitter profile (displaying also when the menu scrolls down with the page). There should be only two images (the “F” for facebook and the little bird for twitter), no text.
    How can I do that?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

You can add Text Widgets with [share] content to Left side top bar area (Appearance->Widgets).
Then you need to edit \themes\royal\framework\shortcodes.php file to remove other icons from there.
Please find // ! Share This Product section and you’ll see code there.

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

    Hello Robert,

I went on Appearance->widgets and there I find only one tob bar (how can I choose the left side of it?), even though I put there a text widget with the [share] content inside. Saved. ctrl+f5. It doesn’t change anything. It never did, really. I already tried to insert there widgets, even statick blocks but it never worked.
    I’m using header 12.
And I wish to specify that I’d like my icons to be linked directly to my facebook page and twitter profile, for my clients to visit them. I don’t want on the header a button for sharing the page on their profiles. So I need a facebook button and a twitter button on my header top bar to redirect my clients on my facebook or twitter (my socials).

    Thanks for you support again.

    Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply.
We upgraded to the last version of the theme but the problem remains. Nothing has changed, unfortunately.
    What can we do?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

As I see you’re still using old theme version http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/15/1228/h_1451329046_4672843_39ee697cf9.png .
Please update the theme to 2.5.1 version.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

we now updated the theme successfully but I still don’t know how to add the icons in the header. Even trying to add the text widget on the left (or right) top bar, nothing happens to the header. But, however, I’d need a different kind of icons, not to share the page but as a link to my social pages and profiles on facebook and twitter.
    Can you help me, please?

    Thank you.
