Social media share icons and comments for blog posts

1. I followed the directions on this topic on how to insert an Instagram share option.

However, when I go to click the Instagram to share it does not work. Did I do something wrong with my code or where I put it? The link goes to http://url_to_your_instagram_page/ and not to the specific users Instagram page to share it. How can this be fixed?

2. I would like to have the share post option appear at the bottom/end of each blog post on the main blog page in addition to each individual post’s page. Right now you can only see the share icons when you click on the specific post title which takes you to the specific post page.

3. I also would like to have an option to post a comment at the bottom/end of each blog post on the main blog page in addition to each individual’s post page. Can a button appear to open a comment box option? I would like the user or viewer to be able to leave a comment on the blog post without having to click on the blog title to go to the specific blog post.

How can this be achieved? Please see login information in private content.

Hello,

1. This link http://url_to_your_instagram_page/ is just an example, you need write your Instagram account url.

2./3. Sorry, but there is no such option. You need use some plugin to achieve it.

Thanks for the reply.

I can insert my own instagram account in place of “http://url_to_your_instagram_page/.” However, I do not think this will achieve what I want. When you click on the shareable twitter icon it allows the user (who is logged into their own twitter) the option to share that post or product to their followers. Similarly, if you click on the pinterest shareable icon it does not take you to my personal pinterest page but to the user’s pinterest page for them to share it. I would like the modification to have the instagram shareable icon link to each unique user’s instagram for them to share the content to their viewers. In other words, to have the shareable instagram icon to work just like the other shareable icons do. Is possible?
