Good Afternoon,
I am trying to use the social function to register and login by google and/or facebook on my website and I have followed all the documentation and the video available but despite the configuration match the function is not working.
When I try to use the API these are giving two different error:
– Google: the request is recognized and all information arrive from google but after you digit your email and password when redirected on my website you get error 403.
– Facebook: same situation as before but this time instead of error 403 you have two scenario: 1) Facebook is telling that currently is not possible to login to this website with your facebook account 2) You get the redbar over the login page and report the error: “Unable to login with facebook account, undefined error. Please try later.
I have tried to deactive the theme and use different social login plugin and that is working without issue.
I have also tried to regenerate htaccess file and check permission on filemanager.

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
1/ Please make sure that this option is activated – https://prnt.sc/WfgrILDQIxEe
2/ Make sure your settings here are the same – https://prnt.sc/BN670vE0JpFL https://prnt.sc/5Dm3zYqHgsOE
3/ Do you have a white or blacklist on the server? It may cause a problem.
4/ Please try to disable all 3rd-party plugins and check how loginisation works then.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi Rose,
1/ I have activated as indicated
2/ I have checked setting and they are the same
3/ Currently no white or black list active. Only limit loging attemp to 60 try then lockout for 10 min. I have also tried deactivating it but no difference.
4/ Already tested this step with xstore theme + xstore core + woocommerce only active and same issue. In addition to it to check if there is a problem with wordpress installation I have tested using theme Twenty Twenty-OneVersion: 1.8 + woocommerce + miniorange social-login. In this test social login was working but miniorange not compatible with xstore.
I haven’t check other social plugin as most of them require payment and not sure if compatible with xstore
🙁
Hello, BRoAcademy,
We will have another specialist review your inquiry in greater detail and will be in touch with you after the weekend.
We kindly ask for your patience and request that you do not alter access.
Kind Regards,

Hello, BRoAcademy,
We apologize for the delay in responding.
1/ https://prnt.sc/lE13YNM3BKF1 – it means there is some trouble with the Facebook API. It is possible that you have been locked out or that there is a verification process that needs to be completed. This can’t be fixed by us from the theme side on your site, you need to contact the FB support team.
2/ About Google, the main issue is that your server is blocking access by URL if any of the parameters contain the following value https%3A%2F%2Fwww.googleapis.com%2Fauth%2Fuserinfo.profile
Original link – https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile It is necessary for Google to return the user’s name and avatar.
We can customize the request by removing this, however then after registration the customer’s profile will be created without a name and avatar https://prnt.sc/jcLt9xDeAGMO https://prnt.sc/6ByHSdLCRZty
We believe that the best solution – is solving the mentioned blocking from the server side, so we would recommend you contact your hosting provider.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi Rose,
Sorry for the late reply but the reply time from facebook team was not fast at all.
1) I have spoke with facebook team and when tried to login with facebook the request was done multiple time, for this reason the app has been blocked. At the same time there is ongoing the verification of the business to allow Adv campaign and similar
2) I spoke with hosting provider ( 1&1 Ionos) and currently there are no block on google api from their side. I am investigating on VPS if there are any issue in configuration. -> Update: I managed to solve this issue checking the Plesk Panel. ModSecurity Rule in Plesk normally block social login by default, you need to add manually the switch off on rules 210580. After i have done this the google login is working as expected.
Hello, BRoAcademy,
Thank you for letting us know.
