    Hi,

I recently set up my website using the XStore Elementor Minimal Fashion 03 Demo ([https://barefootnature.store]. After importing the demo content, I noticed that several images are not loading and appear broken, and the website is loading very slowly..

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Is there a way to ensure that demo images are properly imported or a workaround to fix the broken image links? Are there any plugins I should avoid installing to improve performance?

    Hello, @carinachan2000,

Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.

    1/ Please Check System Requirements:

Ensure that your web hosting environment meets the minimum requirements for the XStore theme. Please increase the memory limit as (512M) and max execution time 300 & max input vars minimum 4000 -Check the image for specific requirements here:
    https://ibb.co/tZwzJSv

We kindly request that you, Please use PHP version 8.0, 8.1 or 8.2

For this please contact your service provider and ask them to fix it.

After that, Please clear your browser cache and recheck again.

2/ Please disable all (3rd) third-party plugins including (cache & Optimizer plugins), except required plugins on your site, and then import the demo on your site again.

Please follow our theme documentation here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/demo-content/

3/ Should you wish to perform the import process independently, please ensure to remove the previously imported demo content https://prnt.sc/OhdZLlrEFq5g before importing the desired version.

Do not import a few versions altogether, it will create a mess. To get blocks from different demos, please use XStore Studio – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/xstudio-feature-of-xstore-wordpress-theme/

We hope this helps. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help you.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team.

Thank you. I have a few questions and would appreciate your help:
1.How do I adjust the memory limit (512M), max execution time (300), and max input vars (4000)? Attached is the screenshot of my system setting.
Is this something I can do myself via SiteGround tools (e.g., file manager or control panel), or is the only way to adjust these settings by contacting SiteGround support?
    2.How can I switch to PHP version 8.0, 8.1, or 8.2?
I’m currently unsure how to check or change the PHP version on my hosting account. Also, after switching PHP versions, how do I clear my browser cache properly to ensure changes are reflected?
3.How do I disable plugins in WordPress?
4.Do I need to do all these steps (memory limit, PHP version, and disabling plugins) at the same time?
Should I complete steps 1 and 2 first, then proceed to step 3 (disable plugins), or are these independent steps I can choose between?

    Hello, @carinachan2000,

    Thank you for your response.

1/ We have reviewed the screenshot you provided and can confirm that the system requirements meet the theme’s specifications. At this time, there is no need to make any adjustments or upgrades.

2/ To switch to PHP version 8.0, 8.1, or 8.2, log in to your hosting account’s control panel (e.g., cPanel, Plesk, or a custom panel) and look for the “PHP Selector” or “PHP Settings” option. From there, select the desired PHP version and save your changes.

3/ To disable plugins in WordPress:

Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
Find the plugin you want to disable and click Deactivate.

4/ You don’t need to do all these steps at once. Start with steps 1 (memory limit) and 2 (PHP version), as they are generally low-risk and often resolve many issues. Proceed to step 3 (disabling plugins) only if the issue persists. Each step can be performed independently, but following this order is usually more efficient.

We hope this helps. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help you.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team.

    Hello,

Thank you for the detailed requirements. I’ve checked my current setup, and I see that my PHP version is 8.2.27(which you can refer to the screenshot), which meets the requirements. Could you please guide me on how to fix the dead image Mitch issue in this case?

    Thank you for your assistance!

    Hello @8Theme Team,

Thank you for your response and the helpful instructions. The website loading speed is much faster now.

However, I followed your advice and took the following steps:
    1. Removed the previously imported demo content.
    2. Reimported the demo content.

The demo content images are still not displaying correctly. (Please have a look at the screenshots)

Could you please provide additional guidance on how I can resolve this issue?

    Best regards,
    Carina
