What´s the appropriate size for images on Xstore (Jewelry)?
Is there a way to resize the image in the template automatically?

Sorry, but it is not quite clear for us what do you mean by “resize the image in the template automatically”?

I had a wix website before and I never had to worry about resizing images. I just uploaded the images and the website uploaded the appropriately sized images to the site. If it were a thumbnail it suited to this measure, if it was to the page of a product it automatically adjusted to the size of the product page. I had not to resize any image.
How does it make it like this on wordpress. I don’t want to resize every image everytime I upload a photo to the site. I have no time for that.
Please give me some help on this. Thank you.
Also wher in the dashboard do I find:
    4.2. 8theme Page/Post Layout settings, 8theme Post Options?
You sent me explanations but I don’t find this in the dashboard anywhere.
    Thank you.

But you don’t need to resize any photo before upload. Just set your desired images sizes in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display as shown on the screenshot and WordPress do this for you.

You can find page/post layout settings when you edit some particular page or post in admin panel.

Well I would like to maintain the sizes that are on the xstore jewelry template.
I want to keep those sizes that the template shows.
So, when I open: WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display, the sizes that are there are not the same that you sent me in here: https://gyazo.com/32bd4a6a1ae2e2b5c6ee8a6dd390c2ec
So what do I do to keep the same sizes that came with the xstore jewelry template?
Do I keep the sizes as they appear on the template or do I change them to the sizes you sent me?
Catalog Images 300 × 300 px Hard Crop?
Single Product Image 600 × 600 px Hard Crop?
Product Thumbnails 180 × 180 px Hard Crop?
Product Image Gallery Product Image Gallery Enable Lightbox for product images
Include WooCommerce’s lightbox. Product gallery images will open in a lightbox.

    Thank you

    Hello,

Sizes that you have at present in WooCommerce options are default WooCommerce sizes. But these sizes are not suitable for the images that we use for the products on Jewellery version, that’s why we have changed them https://gyazo.com/32bd4a6a1ae2e2b5c6ee8a6dd390c2ec

So, everything depends on source images that you plan to use for your products: square, portrait, landscape.

You may read this post to avoid problems https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/

Also, Keep in mind if you change the sizes in WooCommerce settings you will need to regenerate thumbnails using Regenerate thumbnails plugin after that.

    Maybe you didn’t understand me…
I had a wix website before and I never had to worry about resizing images.

And you send me diferrent sizes for the images on these 2 pages:

    https://gyazo.com/32bd4a6a1ae2e2b5c6ee8a6dd390c2ec
    http://prnt.sc/e2nvvu

So which one is the correct size?
I bought a template that I intend to use with the images sizes that appears on the template. I don´t want to change any image size of the template. The sizes of the images on the template are fine to me. All I want is the template system to pick up my images and make them “feet” the template sizes. Is that so difficult for you to understand?

My aim is to KEEP the sizes that the template Xstore Jewelry have on the settings that come with it from you.

So I want to know how do I do to make the template to “receive” my images and adjust automatically my images sizes to the template image sizes?

I am totally desappointed with this template.

The persons who talked to me on the conversations with Xstore support told me everything was easy to set up. Well, it’s not. And I told those persons I am not a web expert.

Now I can’t set up my site because there are a lot of things I am not able to solve.

Waiting for your real help on this.
    Thank you

My images are all bigger than the template image sizes.
They are jpeg format and they are square shape.
So for every thumbnails and shop produsct images the template system shoud automatically resize and adjust my images to the template.

    Hello,

You don’t need to resize your images every time when you uploading them. You should set correct image sizes in WooCommerce settings and all the images that you will upload in future will be auto resized to correct proportions.

If you plan to use squared images then use the following dimentions in WooCommerce settings

    Catalog Images 375×375
    Single product Image 555×55
    Thumbnails 95×95

    Hi,

But the xstore jewelry template that I bought doesn’t already have the correct settings for the images?
I thought I just had to upload my images and the settings would keep just as on the template. Doesn’t it?

    Hello,

These settings are WooCommerce settings, XStore does not have options to adjust images for products. WooCommerce is third-party plugin. That’s why WooCommerce settings are different than on our demo because you should change them by yourself. Is that a problem for you to change settings according to your needs?
