Hello,

It seems my sites home page and some other pages are forcing in custom “text” that I cannot seem to get to change. I am using the Yoast all in one SEO plugin. I have edited what I want the home page title to be updated it and also cleared the cache. Further more submitted the page to get recrawled by google and this I let go “waited” for 2 months to see if maybe it just hadn’t been officially reindexed.. Stil, no changes the on home page specifically and some others are still displaying incorrect titles. I can supply pictures but long story short

Sunken Booty is being forced at the start of the home page when you google “Sunken Booty” it displays
Sunken Booty: Snapback | Bucket Hats | Apparel | Headbands as the url link

However, I have it set to display as
Snapback | Bucket Hats | Apparel | Headbands – Sunken Booty

If you can help with this issue it would be greatly appreciated, also it might help me understand the other pages title problems as well.

This is a screen shot of for part 2 of the Title issue please let me know if I can supply any further information to explain. Once again the original post is different from the screen shot but part 2 of the title issue. The screen shot addition of the words “Sunken Booty” is happening on all pages/posts

I have continued to keep digging and its seems that the part 2 of the problem where the “Sunken Booty” was being added was done from the “settings” – “general” – “site title” page. Once I deleted it now leaving it blank the additional Sunken Booty was removed. However once it is retyped the Sunken Booty is being duplicated adding the text twice making the additional words but i cannot seem to understand why.

Hello,

You need edit the file wp-content/themes/legenda/header.php and remove the line bloginfo( 'name' ); .
