    Hi there,

I’ve been using the Royal theme with the engineer demo for about a week, it’s been great and allowed me to make so many changes.

However, for some reason today the site reverted back to the demo colour scheme. In the settings, the colours, logo and layout are all the same as they were before, even the header has somehow changed.

It seemed to have changed when adding a footer and the widgets within it. Not sure how it affected the whole thing.

I’m in dire need of a solution asap, no idea what has happened, I’ve attached the site and login details to help devs as much as possible.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

We recommend you to contact your host and ask them to restore the site files and database for the date when your site worked well.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Sorry, but we can’t know what caused the issue.
At first you should check error logs with your host.
Also the best way to resolve it is to restore the site and database from back up.

    Please take our apologies.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I’ve deleted the theme, removed the settings and plugins.

Reinstalled it, but it’s still cocked up, thoughts?

    Hello,

Could you please clarify your question?
Why did you reinstall the theme if you could restore it from the back up?
As I see your Home page is working fine.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I couldn’t restore, last back up I had was done a while ago, this is obviously something I need to sort out.

I seemed to have got 90% of the content back now, however the “visual composer” isn’t working for “pages” anymore. It’t not turned off in the settings, I have the option to click it when viewing a page in the dashboard, however it doesn’t do anything.

    Any help at all? :-/

    Hello,

I’ve checked Visual Composer editor and it’s working fine and the elements are available for editing:

    Just an update:

It turns out that a instagram plug in seems to cause the site to revert back to the demo version.

I’ve just tested it a couple of times and can confirm that the “minimalist instagram Widget” causes changes done to the site to revert back to the original demo version, once the plugin has been deactivated then it’s fine.

Not sure what is going on there though :-/

    Hello,

You may contact plugin author concerning this issue and ask them to investigate the problem with this plugin.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
