My site has randomly reverted to the default header, footer, logo and favicon settings and I’m not sure why. I’m not sure what triggered this change; I made changes to the navigation earlier today – roughly 8 hours ago – but this problem just arose without any obvious reason why.

I’ve checked the Theme Options – my custom header, footer, logo and favicon settings appear to still be intact, but this is not the case on the front-end. I’ve tried re-saving the theme options, but that did not result in any changes either.

My site is currently live, so this is a problem that needs to be resolved immediately. I’m going to continue to try to work it out, and will comment any updates. I will offer FTP or WP Dashboard credentials when I get a response.

Thanks for getting back to me. Credentials are in private content.

Just to give you an update, I’ve been hacking together a quick-fix to make the site presentable, so you won’t see this issue on all pages. I’ve also edited the child theme’s style.css to quiz-fix some of the style issues. I’m giving you a good page to test things out on in the private content as well.

I’ll look into caching/backup on my server and get back to you.

    Hello @bgirer,

Do you have any restrictions enabled on a server where your site is hosted?
When logged in wp-admin panel redirects to a blank page.
Please give us permissions to access admin panel.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello @stiefelmann,

If you check the previous post attentively you’ll see that it was addressed to the client @bgirer.

I have enabled logo from fixed header variant. Please check 3rd-party plugins as some of them are causing the issue. You can disable them one by one to find the one which causes the problem.

    With best regards
    Brian Johnson

I’ve edited the permissions for the WP Admin login that I provided, it should work now using the same credentials I supplied earlier.

EDIT: Brian, I just saw your message. It seems that the problem has been resolved – logo, favicons and fixed headers are back to normal – should I still check my plugins one by one? Do you think this issue will recur because of one of my plugins?

    Hello @bgirer,

    So is your issue resolved?
If it is you don’t need to disable plugins.

    Thank you.

    Eva Kemp.
