After installing the Woopress 1.5 update, my site is returning a blank white page. I have already increased the memory limit in php.ini to 256M, and tried increasing it to 512M after updating to 1.5, but it did not solve the problem. I can still log into the dashboard, but the front-end is unresponsive.

    Thank you for your help.

I´m having the same problem. In the error log there are this errors:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function woocommerce_get_page_id() in /home/xyz.com/www/wp-content/themes/woopress/headers/header-structure-1.php on line 2

Maybe good to know: There is no WooCommerce installed on the site (I like your theme, but don´t need a shop at the moment).

    Best regards,
    Jan

    Hello @dlx,

You have a lot of “woopress” folders in wp-content/themes/ directory. You need use only one Woopress theme and the child theme. So please remove all unnecessary woopress folders and reupload the latest version of the theme.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello Eva,

I updated the theme and installed the recommended plugins, but this didn´t fix anything.

In WP-Admin I get this message:
YITH WooCommerce Wishlist is enabled but not effective. It requires WooCommerce in order to work.

I think there must be a bug in your theme thats causing the error (every time a page gets loaded): PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function woocommerce_get_page_id()

    Best regards

Downgraded to version 1.3 (I´ve downloaded the zip on March 16.) and everything works fine. Something in version 1.5 has to be wrong.

    Hello Eva,

yes, I fix for version 1.5 would be great.
Maybe you changed something on ../woopress/headers/header-structure-1.php on line 2

    Best regards

    Hello @dlx,

To check the issue we need to have 1.5 version activated.
May we delete all other “woopress” folders and keep only the latest version and your child theme folder?

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello Eva,

ok, version 1.5 is activated now and all other “woopress” folders are deleted from the themes folder (moved them to an other folder that´s 1 level higher to have a backup). So now the pages are blank again. Hope you´ll find the problem!

    Best regards

    Hello,

The page couldn’t be loaded because you didn’t have Woocommerce plugin installed.
I’ve installed it and now the site is working.

    Please check it.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello Eva,

that´s what I wrote in my first post “There is no WooCommerce installed”.
But I think your theme should work without WooCommerce, too (like it did before).

    Thanks for your help,
    Jan
