Sipping: collect from shop option - by Matteo Carrubba

    Hello I am trying to create a shipping option that consists in collecting the goods in person from our shop. The option should be valid only for people invoicing from Milan. If this option is selected the cost of the shipping will be zero and no other shipping options would be available.
    If I set it up in this way the option to collect from shop is hiding all the other shipping options regardless of the shipping location. I have double checked and I think that is a bag.
    Maybe this is connected to the reason that Milan is inside Italy.

    Hello,

    Go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate the Storefront theme. Check if you have this issue when the Storefront theme is activated. Let me know about the results.

    Hi, do you mean that I have to deactivate the child theme and activate xStore theme?
    In this way I will loose weeks of customisation and it’s not feasible

    Hello,

    No, I mean that you need to install the default WooCommerce theme Storefront and check if shipping options work ok with the default WooCommerce theme.
    Once you check it switch back to XStore child. The only thing that you may get messed up is widgets. So, after switching you probably will need to go to Appearance > Widgets and place widgets to correct widget areas if you face this issue after switching.

    Hi There’s no other way to check? As I have several widgets around and it took me quite some time to fix them.
    The site is almost ready to go online and I cannot have further delays. Also I’m afraid to forget something around

    Hello,

    Nope, shipping is the default WooCommerce option and our theme should not affect it in any way. You can open the Widgets tab and pin it, switch themes and then open widgets in a new tab and just compare with the previous one and move widgets to correct areas just in few mins.
