    Hello,

I am currently rebuilding the Single Product Page using XStore → Single Product Builder after replacing WordPress core files.

I am encountering an issue with the Single Product Sidebar:

A logo and link block appears in the left sidebar on single product pages

This content does not appear in Appearance → Widgets

It is not selectable or editable in the Single Product Builder

Clicking the ⚙️ section settings icon does nothing

The sidebar seems to contain predefined content that is injected, not an editable widget or builder element

I would like to either edit or remove this sidebar content or use the same sidebar as the Shop page sidebar

    Could you please clarify:

Where this sidebar content is defined (Static Block / template fallback / hook)?

How to completely remove or override it?

Whether there is a way to force Single Product pages to use the Shop sidebar widget area instead?

The goal is to have full control over the Single Product sidebar, without hidden or inherited elements.

    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards,
    Oana

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To remove the brands from the single product sidebar, you can adjust their location in Theme Options → WooCommerce → Shop → Shop Elements → Brands (https://prnt.sc/S2yKz5M62rtW) After that, go to Appearance → Widgets and edit content if the Single product sidebar (the search will be displayed there on frontend in case this widget area is empty).

To remove the sidebar, please follow this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/lR3EEvOPXwXD from Single Product Builder in Theme Options.

    Warm Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

I have removed brands, although this is not what I needed.
I do NOT want to REMOVE the sidebar, I want to edit it and add specific info there.

Please see attached the shop sidebar and the current single product page sidebar. I would like them to be the same.

    Hello @NxtArt_ro,

We apologize for the misunderstanding regarding your request and for the delay in our response.

Since you are using the Single Product Builder in the Customizer, you need to configure the widget area of your single product layout as shown in the following example: https://prnt.sc/SaMzELbD89h5.
    Example: https://gyazo.com/7e4c541567ff1afc04823b1d69ef43fc.

Please note that most of the WooCommerce widgets displayed in the sidebar on the shop page are not shown in the sidebar on the single product page, even if the same sidebar widget area is selected. This is expected behavior because most WooCommerce widgets are designed to appear only on product archive pages, as defined in the WooCommerce plugin’s code (https://prnt.sc/td2q1NASWcUu), and cannot be displayed on non-archive pages, such as single product.

If you prefer to remove this area from your single product page and keep the layout without an additional sidebar column, please set the “Sidebar type” option to “Builder element” (https://prnt.sc/ok5xZbwHyPWD) or set the sidebar position to “Without” (https://prnt.sc/fFSapjsmKtc3).

We sincerely apologize once again for any misunderstanding.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

    Hello,
Still not very helpfull what you are saying.

The sidebar is already set as you specified here: https://prnt.sc/SaMzELbD89h5.
    Example: https://gyazo.com/7e4c541567ff1afc04823b1d69ef43fc.
And there is no way I can edit it, it shows only the Search field and also showed the brand logo before it was disabled.
I want to add to this section also other fields: categories, price filters, stock, etc
I do not want to remove it, I want to customize it.

    Regards,
    Oana

My goal is to help users easily continue browsing if the current product is not suitable, using simple and familiar eCommerce navigation elements.

Examples of what I would like to offer on the single product page:

Easy access to other product categories

Quick interaction with product attributes (size, color)

Navigation toward products in a similar price range

General guidance to alternative products without forcing users back to the shop page

However, if the Single Product Page Sidebar does not fully support displaying these elements (or is not intended for this purpose), I would like to know:

What are the recommended XStore-native alternatives for displaying such navigation elements on single product pages?

Should these elements be placed inside the Single Product Builder layout instead of using the sidebar?

Are there specific XStore components or widgets designed for this use case (e.g. related products by category, attribute-based suggestions, price-based product blocks)?

What approach do you recommend to achieve this without misusing AJAX filters, which I understand are mainly intended for shop and category pages?

I want to follow XStore’s intended structure and best practices, while still providing a smooth and intuitive browsing experience for users.

    Thank you for your guidance.

    Hello, NxtArt_ro,

Thank you for providing access. The situation is as follows: the widget bar is displayed, but it appears only on the frontend. Unfortunately, it is not visible in the backend or in the Editor itself.

Additionally, we will send you a screenshot showing how it should be configured to appear on the left side as you require.

Please also note that not all widgets will function properly. For example, filters will definitely not work due to WooCommerce limitations. Therefore, we recommend using widgets such as standard categories or brands instead.

    Best regards,

Thank you for your message and for sharing your detailed request.

We understand your goal to enhance the user experience by providing intuitive navigation options on single product pages. To achieve this, we recommend exploring the following XStore-native alternatives:

    – Related Products and Upsell Products: These built-in WooCommerce elements can be configured to display products from the same category or with similar attributes.
    – XStore Product Widgets: You can use widgets such as Products by Category* Products by Attribute, or Products by IDs/Tags within the single product page layout via the XStore Builder.
    – Custom Product Blocks: The XStore Builder allows you to create custom sections that can include product grids filtered by price range or category, offering flexible placement and design options.

In addition, we recommend using the XStore Elementor Product Builder, which provides more functional elements than the Customizer Product Builder and allows for more precise customization of the single product page.

    Hello,
We have noticed that none of the widgets that depend on filters are working. Could you please advise on the cause of this issue?
    Thank you.

    Hello, NxtArt_ro,

Please note that all widgets related to filters function only on the shop archive page and its derivatives (such as category, brand, and product tag pages). This limitation is due to the specific structure of WooCommerce. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use these filters on pages that are not part of the shop.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team
