Single Product Page Problems - by George

I have 2 problems on the Single Product Page that need fixing.

1.) On the right side column the linked products do not display correctly when I add products, the product pictures stack on top of each other rather than side by side. It does this for most single product pages but not all.

Here is a page that the linked products stack and are a problem

2.) When I edit a single product page a new problem just started showing up after one of the recent theme upgrades. Space opens up between the product picture and the gallery pictures below and the Video Link and the Product Picture Enlarge Link have dropped down in the white space opened up between the product picture and the gallery pictures. 3.) Question: How do I turn off the Additional Information Tab on the single product page (I remaned it “Technical”

Hi,

1. This page looks just fine, https://exteriorcoatings.com/product/cmw-8000-concrete-moisture-vapor-barrier/ can you tell us in which browser and OS you check this issue? I checked in Firefox in mac and it looks just fine.

2. Can you try running the regenerate thumbnail plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ , for more please give it a read here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/

3. You can check it here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/editing-product-data-tabs/ on how to remove it.

1.) Item #1 does not work in a PC Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. I don’t have a MAC to test it. Please check it out.

2.) I am working on this one

Sorry but I do not see the problem. Do you mean this http://prntscr.com/h77rzi? If yes, it is a normal situation, try to add more than 2 products to see second column.

Yes, I mean it now looks like your screenshot: http://prntscr.com/h77rzi BUT it never looked like that until I did one of the last XStore Theme updates. The Tteme ALWAYS put the 2nd linked product to the right side of first on a single row NOT underneath. This does NOT look professional or good. It also opens up un-needed vertical space on the page between the product picture and the product description text. What can be done to get it back to the way it was? Thanks.

Hi,

Use this Custom CSS,

.sidebar-slider .swiper-wrapper { width: 100% !important; }

Can you try adding one more product? before adding the CSS and see that changes anything?

For my original 3 problems, still need help with Item #1:

1.) The Custom CSS stopped stacking problem when adding a 2nd linked product to the single product page right hand sidebar widget. BUT used to be only 4 products and then the 5th and 6th products accessed by using slider but now the 5th and 6th products are stacked, taking more vertical spacing. How do I adjust widget so after the 4th product it no longer displays on page unless use the slder. 2.) Fixed single product page picture spacing problem by resetting the product image display settings in Woo Commerce and then saving.

Hello,

We use Swiper slider to create slider of the upsell products http://idangero.us/swiper/demos/
And unfortunately, when slider uses multirow view it displays items in the following order http://prntscr.com/h8aetm because it uses box-lines: multiple; and there is no way to change the order to show 2d product at the right side of the first product. That’s why what you have only 2 products you see it in vertical order. Custom CSS that Laranz provided breaks the slider width that is calculated by slider script, so, I would recommend you to remove it.

Ok thanks. Don’t understand why the swiper widget is displaying differently now vs the way it did up until recently, but solution for me is to limit # linked products to 4 (2 rows displayed) so it doesn’t create a 3rd row of displayed products vs presenting the slider option like it did before.

Will just consider my request for help closed.
