Single image with visual composer don't work

Hi,
the visual composer single image inserting no longer works.
I updated the plugin, but it’s the same.

I read in several posts that others users have the same problem.
I might have an answer to the problem?

Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

Hello!
Unfortunately i did not use child theme and the theme is heavily modified. So can you please just tell me which files in theme should i change that will make theme compatabile with new visual composer ? And not change all of the theme files? I suppose for VC compatability is enough to replace just a few files… Thanks!

Hello,

We don’t recommend to reupload just few files, but to update the whole theme.
And we don’t suggest to edit original theme files. Please create child theme and move your changes there.
After that create site back up and update the theme (or you may reupload the file vc.php in wp-content/themes/woopress/framework directory).
