I’m currently facing an issue with the sidebar display on my WooCommerce shop page using the XStore theme. Here are the details:

The sidebar works correctly on category pages, but it does not appear on the main shop page.
I’ve already configured the sidebar under Shop Page Layout and enabled the “Filter by Categories” widget.
The settings for displaying the sidebar seem to be applied correctly, but it’s still not showing up on the shop page.
I’ve attached screenshots to show the configuration and the issue. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

Could you please provide FTP access also?

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Hello, @Benz,

It seems that the issue might be caused by some form of caching, possibly server-side because even the default Product categories widget (https://prnt.sc/ezNSWNLlGyGf) displays no categories -> https://prnt.sc/Py8iDJMKxRZB. Could you please, clear the server caching by contacting to your server provider and check then ?
    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi,

I’ve further check and update for you. I have switch to another theme and the category works properly. Considerably, I assume that the problem is the Xstore theme conflicting with Category on the shop page.

    Kindly Advise

    I’ve check further
    – Disable all plugin. Only Elementor and woocommerce is activated.
    – Categories show on Shop page just fine.
    – After Enable the XStore Core. Product Categories problem exist.
-After install from demo, it works fine until you create a new category. The newly create category does not show.

kindly advise as earliest as possible. Thanks

    Hello, Benz,

    Thank you for providing access.

To begin with, our “Category Filter” widget differs from the standard WooCommerce “Categories” widget. Specifically, our widget does not display categories that do not contain purchasable products. We added a product to one of the categories you created, and it is now visible. Kindly check and confirm.

Additionally, we noticed that you have an external caching mechanism that is not cleared using WooCommerce’s standard methods. To address this, we have added a filter that disables caching for the “Category Filter” widget.

For this purpose, we have added the following code to the file: wp-content/themes/test-child2/functions.php
    add_filter('et_widget_cat_filter_ignore_wc_term_cache', '__return_true');

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Best regards,
