Show portfolio with grid element of visual composer

Hi,

Hope you can help me with this issue.

I need to show in my website portfolio items with grid elements custom design. I only get post or pages, but the plugin did not recognise portfolio items, neither categories. From visual composer, I did not get any answer. There is and option to make a custom query, but I do not know how to use it.

Can you help me with it?

This is a test website. Once is completed, I have to upload it in the right domain, so in case I have to make any modification in the code, I would be really gratefull if you could tell what I have to do.

Hi Eva,

The page “example” for this is: http://www.kermesmagazine.es/escapadas-2/
The format desired is this, but I got it choosing the option “List of IDs”. What I need is to show portfolio items with option “page” or with a “custon query”, as it will be quite difficult to manage for my client if I have to explane all the changes thay have to do if I leave like that.

I do not know If there is any option to show portfolio items in this format just selecting the category associated to items in portfolio, like post.

Hello,

You need edit wp-content/themes/royal/framework/portfolio.php , line 9, find
add_action('init', 'etheme_portfolio_init'); and replace with add_action('init', 'etheme_portfolio_init', 1);. Then you’ll get “Portfolio” option in drop down menu in Post Grid settings.
We’ll also include this fix in our next update.
