I don’t know why the size of database of the site is 10.5 GB !!!
we have around 1300 products only
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.

– We understand your concern regarding the size of your website’s database. A database size of 10.5 GB does seem unusually large for a site with approximately 1300 products. There could be several reasons for this, such as accumulated revisions, transients, logs, or unused data from plugins or themes.
We recommend the following steps to help identify and reduce the database size:
1. **Database Optimization**: Use a plugin like WP-Optimize or Advanced Database Cleaner to remove unnecessary data such as post revisions, spam comments, and expired transients.
2. **Check for Unused Tables**: Some plugins may leave behind database tables even after they are deactivated or deleted. You can use tools like phpMyAdmin or plugins like WP-DBManager to review and clean up unused tables. Please ensure you take a full backup before making any changes.
3. **Review Logs and Sessions**: Some plugins or themes may store logs or session data in the database. These can grow over time and should be cleared periodically.
4. **Media and Attachments**: If your products include many images or attachments, ensure that these are not being stored in the database unnecessarily.
If you need further assistance, we recommend consulting with your hosting provider or a database specialist who can perform a detailed analysis.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
