    Hi,
the Sidebar/Filter of the product archive, built using Products Archive Builder and a prebuilt template, does not produce any content.

I have tried a couple of other product archive templates and they work as expected.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the prebuilt template with the desired Sidebar/Filter element, the builder and the resulting page.

Can you help me troubleshoot the issue ?

    Claus

    Hello Alex,
that was simple, i.e. I see why there was no content, thanks 😊

however, still the product categories list widget is not generating the output I see on the prebuilt template Organic, i.e. the product category hierarchy as an expandable/collapsible list of links. I’ve checked and changed settings, but is it another widget ?

And the right side with archive products is not responding to the filter, it remains static as shown on screenshot.

Would you have a tip for that as well ?

    Claus

    Hello,

    You’re welcome!

To display categories and subcategories on the shop page in a vertical menu format, go to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets. Add the “Product Categories” widget to the desired widget area (e.g., Shop Sidebar) https://prnt.sc/IcL0CNs-kzv7 . Ensure the “Show hierarchy” option is enabled to display subcategories.

Unfortunately, the category filter does not have such functionality. However, you can use the default WooCommerce widget “Product Categories” and select the “Show hierarchy” option within it.
