    Hi,

May I ask what is the difference between shop sidebar and shop filters?

    Hello,

    https://prnt.sc/nz63d0
To correct work of “8theme – Filter Products by Brands” widget you need to have few brands and associate them with products http://prntscr.com/nz63xb https://prnt.sc/nz644t
Settings for the sidebar and Filter area you can find in Theme Options > Shop > Shop page Layout.

    Understood.

How about the filter of the attributes? How can I set it and let visitors filter by attributes?

Sorry, I am not asking about how to add attributes.

I am asking about how to set a fitter for attributes on the shop filter:

If you correctly created variable products with variations, please see screenshots – http://prntscr.com/nz6ezz > http://prntscr.com/nz6f6z

    Hello,

Looks like you created custom attributes separately on every product. These attributes can’t be used for “Filter Products by Attribute” widget.
You need to create global attributes. Go to Products > Attributes > Create desired attributes and terms for them – http://prntscr.com/nz78bm Read more about custom and global attributes in the documentation of WooCommerce https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#set-global-attributes

I am able to create it now, thank you.

May I ask which plugin does “select a brand” and “All brands” belong to? They belong to “8theme- Filter product by brand”. But I cannot find them in loco translate. I also press the “Sync” button but I still cannot see them.
