Shipping Value $0 when checking out 2 or more products

    Hi There,

    I have been using the Blanco / WPCommerce theme now for a few years now. I took the punt last month to update to the new WordPress 4.0/New Blanco theme and WPCommerce updates. It went fairly smoothly, which is great!

    I have just discovered a bug though. When I checkout 2 or more items and select shipping (using built in WPEC Flat Rate Shipping module) the shipping fee becomes $0 and customers can’t checkout.

    We get an error “Please select one of the available shipping options, then we can process your order.”

    To replicate the above error please do the following.

    1. Visit stepaheadshoes.com.au
    2. Checkout two seperate items
    3. Checkout page – select “Australia” country – please notice shipping is $0.
    4. Click “checkout”
    5. Insert your details and click “purchase”.

    I actually just noticed something… it’s has nothing to do with “1 or more items”. It has to do with the free shipping functionality.

    I have selected free shipping for items over $300.

    I just unchecked that and it seems to be working fine. However, we are still going to want the free shipping implemented.

    Hello,

    I’ve just checked Checkout page and haven’t seen any problems. I’ve been redirected to PayPal page.
    Do you wish to make free shipping for all products?
    Please provide us with wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.

    Hello,

    I’ve disabled shipping and tried to checkout. Again I’ve been successfully redirected to PayPal.
    Could you please provide us with a screenshot of an error you’re getting when trying to checkout?

    Just to confirm.

    If you checkout with products over $300 – we have enabled free shipping over $300.

    Hello,

    Have you made any changes in the theme files?
    As I see there is an error:
    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    What theme version are you using?

    Hi,

    I made some small modifications to the wpecommerce templates within the theme folder.

    I am using the latest Blanco theme.

    Are you able to let me know which themes are incomplete?

    Hello,

    Sorry, but we can’t see what version of the theme you’re using:http://prntscr.com/4yljn1
    We don’t recommend making changes in files of the main theme.
    It would be better if you used Child Theme for customization.

    Thanks for your help on this. I decided to roll back to an earlier version of WPEC – seemed to fix the issue 🙂
