    Hi, I purchased your great theme to setup a webstore for my father in law and I’d like to use this thread for a few adjustments, hopefully you can help me. It’s a great theme, just need to adjust it a bit.

    1. Does anyone know how to add some sort of GDPR popup or something? The theme and site uses cookies and I believe I need the visitors consent as I am based in the EU. Sorry, not sure if this falls under the support I purchased.

    2. At the top my my website there is a black bar, I already removed the language and currency glyphs with some help from this forum. Added some customs css. But I want to remove the bar altogether, so the website looks like the one in your onepage demo. Menu on top, blended with the header.

    3. For some reason the header on my website sits too low, again not like the one in the demo. What am I missing, I tried pretty much all the headers available and I can’t get it to look like the demo.

    4. I an getting a “Warning: Declaration of Axiom_Plugin_Updater::download_package($package) should be compatible with WP_Upgrader::download_package($package, $check_signatures = false) in C:\Server\Laragon\www\new\wp-content\plugins\masterslider-installable\admin\includes\classes\class-axiom-plugin-updater.php on line 29” on the dashboard which I believe is due to a problem with the masterslider, should already be fixed in the lastest version of masterslider. Just waiting for the updated version to be added to WooPress.

    5.I REALLY want to make the website a onepage website. Three items are proving difficult. The cart, checkout and blog posts. Is there a way for all these three items to show up on the website as an overlay popup of sorts? Blacked out background style. You can check how it’s made on the website I’m trying to emulate. Please help me with this.

    6. Each blog post now show the “uncategorized” category. There will never be any categories on the blog, can this be removed? To go from this: http://shrani.si/f/1j/cd/3GLAyASN/original.png to this: http://shrani.si/f/2A/Us/4ozOG8l8/wish.jpg.

    I really hope someone from your team can help me with some of these items. The help is much appreciated.

    Hello,

    1) You can install and use Cookie Notice plugin.

    2) Go to Theme Options > Header settings > Top Bar > off http://prntscr.com/npqkp0 if you want to disable topbar.

    3) Do you want to show header over the slider? Then go to Theme Options > Header settings > choose the variant 2 of the header. After that edit page and choose to show revolution slider instead of the breadcrumbs to get overlap effect http://prntscr.com/npqnh6

    4) Login to your account of our site and go to https://www.8theme.com/downloads , there you’ll find the latest versions of all the included plugins for your theme.

    5) You may try to compose header using Static blocks feature and use Ultimate addons element (Modal box) to get cart/checkout content in the popup http://prntscr.com/npt0ds using cart/checkout shortcodes.

    6) There is no option to remove the uncategorized category. You can either rename it or hide on the frontend using custom CSS, for example

    .blog-post h6.active {
        display: none;
    }

    Regards

    1. Thank you, this plugin is great!!
    2. This also worked great.
    3. This sadly did not have the desired effect. I chose header #2, but the page already had the onepage_slider selected, not breadcrumbs and it did not work. You can checkout how it looks now.
    4. Thank you!
    5. I’ll try to do this over the weekend.
    6. I added this code in the custom css box under customs.css for global and it doesnt hide the category, uncategorized in this case.

    Also, is it possible to only have quick-view for every product picture? I want to remove the wish list link from the bottom of the picture and only leave the quick-view link but also have a quick-view link from the top of the product picture as well. Can this be done?

    I want to make the website faster. First I’ll try to have a static header image, can I do this? Without a slider. Then, a site that analyzes websites suggested that I “Make fewer HTTP requests” by combining 46 external javacripts into one and 30 stylesheets into one.

    Thanks again for your help, we’re nearly there! If you want I’ll also paste my website login info here in the private area so you can take a look. Thank you!

    Hello,

    I see that you use the CDN. Could you, please:
    3. a) Provide also FTP access to check and help you with that issue. We suppose that CDN minification could be the reason of the problem but if not we will need to test and edit the files.
    b) Disable CDN minification. We would recommend you to install cache plugin and use cache plugin minification option instead of CDN minification.
    c) Login to your account https://gyazo.com/fbddfbcf07a7686b17bf0c0c2f5ac1f4 to allow us to clear CDN cache via Dashboard, it would be great if you could enable dev mode in CDN settings.

    6. Have you cleared the CDN cache? Actually, we would not recommend to use CDN if you are still developing the site. It’s better to enable CDN once you finish and ready to launch site.

    Regards

    I’m sorry for the late answer, I have a new baby and it’s taking up all of my time. I have provided the login info you have requested. I cant grant a FTP access as there’s no FTP server for this website. I’ll try to set it up if you really need it.

    I have been told though that for some reason the whole website is woefully slow. I only used items from your theme and rearranged them, then added a few products, but it’s very slow to load. So I am maybe thinking I need to do a full redesign. But if we can track down why the header image is too low, that would be great and it should help me even if I do redesign the website.
