Just launched clients site, but they updated wordpress and no getting this message:
“instead. in /home/cluster-sites/2/s/[SITENAME]/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3457 Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0!”
On the page.
I’ve tried to update the theme, but only got the child theme in my plugins and every time I go to change it it does nothing!
Have any of the mods had a chance to look yet? Sorry for the bump, just really worried about it.
Hello,
Those were just notices, not errors, and all of them were related to WordPress file wp-includes/functions.php. I’ve disabled debug mode in wp-config.php file to hide them. Please check wp-admin panel now.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Thank you so much Eva! Sorry for the panic!
I’ve changed the function to what it wanted and it was still giving that message.
Also I’ve tried updating the theme several times, and as mentioned I only seem to have the child version, so when copying it across it doesn’t seem to want to play ball. :-/
Hello,
You can download new theme version here:
http://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976
Please update the theme to the latest version.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
