  I’m having serious difficulties in customizing the site footer. A help on how this can be done more simply.

  Thanks for using our theme.
  Enable Elementor for static blocks – https://prnt.sc/vrwpml , then create a footer static block with the desired content, and set it to show via Appearance > Widgets. For example – https://prnt.sc/vrwrnz > https://prnt.sc/vrwru4
