  Hello,

  I use the simple mega menu (as set up in the wordpress menu options). When adding images/icons to menu items, those images appear after the item text, which gives a rather uneven appearance.

  Can the image go before the text?

  Have a look at https://www.pflanzkompass.at/, menu item SHOP, and see the example with the colors. I would need the to be before the text and thus in one line underneath each other.

  I need to stick to this simpler menu and cannot use elementor.

  Hello,

  great, thank you, works.
  However, the icons are now double their size (by length of the sides). Should I replace them or is that a css issue?

  Please, try to add next custom CSS (Theme Options -> Theme Custom CSS -> Global CSS):

  .et_b_header-menu .menu-item .nav-item-image {
      max-width: 20px;
  }
