Hello,

Now that my website is practly ready im configuring SEO, i have just one doubth, i am adding the metadata description to all my pages, its already done, but i also have the categories, wich have the same name as my pages for example,i have a page that i named balls and a category balls, i have a page called rackets and a category called rackets and so on.

My question is i should also add the metadata to the categories?Do i put the same text i already entered in the pages?

yes, if you have a place to put SEO descriptions separately for pages and categories.
because pages and categories will be treated like two different pages.
so it’s better you do them separately.

Yes i have the space to also put meta description in categories, one question: should i use the same description i already entered in the pages?or should i try to write something new?

Im sory for posting the question but i was just reading you blog for Seo best practices and in the end of the article Alex Miro said to ask any questions in the support forum…thats why i asked this, but its ok.
