Select Options Button not working on variable Products / shop-page

Hello there!

We are currently facing an issue with variable products on the shop page. The button “select options” is not clickable – suprisingly it does work when the customizer is active. Is there already a fix for that, as this might have something to do with xstore in general?

Hello,

Try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that do not come bundled with XStore https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ , clear cache of browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is a reason for the problem.
If this is not the fault of plugins, provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access, we will check it more deeply.

Thank you for the fast answer! I couldn’t find out what is causing this and still think this might be a Theme-Issue. I will provide you with a temporary wp-admin-login in the private content area.

Hey,

so I found out what caused the issue. When using “add to cart with quantity” option the button on the shop page of variable products is not clickable – after deactivating it works as it should.

Hello,

You can’t add to cart variable product if you did not choose the variation. That’s why variable product redirects you to the single product page to allow you to choose the variation.
So, if you want to be able to add the variable product to the cart from the product grid you can enable variation swatches https://youtu.be/LgzC4iK-j6A and then you’ll be able to choose the variation from the grid.

Hey Olga.

The “select options” button was not clickable and did not redirect to the single product page. Now it is and the problem is solved now.
