Hi,
when using the ajax preview of the search field (see linked pic 1) two out of three relevant products and a portfolio item show up.
when executing the query using the form only products get listed; the portfolio item seems to be discarded (see linked pic 2)
when executing the query using the form one product shows up that way that was missed by the ajax preview of the search field before.
Is this a glitch or did I miss some configuration work?
Thanks for you patience. The final testing should soon be over.
Best regards,
… added login information.
Were you able to reproduce the issue?

Hello,
Try to edit the file wp-content/themes/legenda/woosearchform.php and comment the line 12 <input type="hidden" name="post_type" value="product" />
and that clear your browser cache and check search form.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hi,
thanks. That didn’t change the scope of the result listing, though… as far as I can tell.
Please take a look for yourself.

Hello,
Search results for different types are shown only in dropdown box. Unfortunately they can’t be displayed in search result page.
We’ll forward this query to our developers to implement such feature in the theme update. They will include it in one of releases.
Please take our apologies for inconveniences.

Hi,
mh ok. Thanks! I’m looking forward to it.
There’s still that one product (please check screenshots) that doesn’t show up at the ajax result preview. It shows up when executing the form, though. Maybe that’s a different glitch?
Please tell me if you were able to reproduce this.
Best regards
Hello,
We’ll fix it in future update too.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
did the fix find it’s way into the current release/update?
Best regards,
Hello,
Unfortunately that feature hasn’t been included in the update yet. Developers have been known about it and they will improve search form in one of the future updates.
Thank you.

Hi,
ok, thanks! I’m looking forward to it.
There is a somewhat popular search plugin available that seems to support custom post types, btw.. I didn’t test it, though.
Best regards,
