  The search function is not working properly, only returning posts, not products.

  I removed the code <input type=”hidden” name=”post_type” value=”product” /> in line 12 in the woosearchform.php but that did not help.

  Any ideas how to remove this problem?

  Hello,

  Please create a page Search Results and select template “Search Results” which we created specially for search form and in Theme Options > Ajax Search enable the options you need.

  Thanks Eva, this works brilliantly.

  The only 2 issues I have left in this context are:

  1. In the results page the header says “Product results”. Where can I translate this? In WPML it cannot be found.

  2. In the search field when entering a search word it says “view products”. I have translated this in WPML but it does not change to Dutch.

  I’ve rescanned the strings and as I see there is no translation for “Products Results”:

  Please check strings in WPML > String Translation.
