Search does not search by SKU – Elementor/Theme Builders search page.

    When searching by SKU, the search function behaves differently than when searching by text:
    – In the Ajax search, when I start typing the SKU, for example “vl88”, the products matching the SKU are displayed on the list.
    – However, in the standard search (using Elementor/Theme Builder search page), when I enter the same SKU, “vl88”, and press enter or click the search icon, a message appears stating that no products were found.
    – Interestingly, when I search using a word or text, such as “ramka”, the search function works correctly in both places.

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Unfortunately, FTP is not available on our server for security reasons. Please refer to the private section for more information as I provided you a workaround.
    Furthermore, I have disabled the caching plugin and turned off the CDN, so you should be able to view all changes without any caching.

    Hello, Krzysztof,

    Thank you for granting us access. We have identified the cause of the issue—it occurs due to an incorrect input. Specifically, “vl88” is being entered instead of the designated “m_VL885.”

    The search functionality on the shop page operates according to standard rules, whereas the header search follows enhanced search rules. Unfortunately, due to WooCommerce limitations, we are unable to apply the header search rules to the shop page search.

    I am uncertain if this is entirely accurate or if I have understood it correctly. When I deactivate the Elementor Search Template (by setting it to draft) the system then utilize the standard search, correct ? In such a case, the system properly searches and displays products as expected when I enter “vl885” into the search field. Therefore, the conclusion must be that the limitation comes from the Xstore Elementor’s Element, which has been added into the Elementor search template. Or perhaps I am overlooking something?

    PS: Disabling the Elementor Search Template is not a viable option, as we are experiencing significant issues with the speed of the standard search. Please refer to our other topic here: https://www.8theme.com/topic/very-slow-search-function-toolbar-in-header/#post-434014

    As we mentioned earlier, the WP File Manager plugin is not suitable for addressing this issue.

    Is SSH / SFTP suitable enough ? that is the only option I can propose
