Search by products enabled – Only finds posts.

    Hi I just updated to the latest version of Legenda, and the search function has stopped working. I have set it up to only search for products but it’s only searching posts.

    Confirmed bug:
    – After theme update to 2.10 no search results found.
    – Theme search option on products active.

    Wrong parameters from DOM passed to GET ajax query:

    admin-ajax.php?s=boxe&products=Array&count=3&images=1&posts=&portfolio=&pages=&action=et_get_search_result

    Correct ajax query must be:

    admin-ajax.php?s=boxe&products=1&count=3&images=1&posts=&portfolio=&pages=&action=et_get_search_result

    I use “Search By SKU – for Woocommerce” plugin with your theme and was working fine for searching SKU till last update.
    I’d like to keep using it!!!

    The search is now working, thank you, although not as it should. The search is coming up like: /search-results/?search=embrace%20lace

    But the functionality of /?s=embrace lace&post_type=product is much better and how we would like it to be.

    Is it possible for this to be changed? Also has the change affected the SKU search plugin we have or is it just too out of date and now not working?

    Hello @dougflo,

    We improved search form and created special template for search results page. Sorry, but url can’t be changed.

    Our search template doesn’t have option to search by SKU.
    In this case you need use a separate plugin for search form and replace our default form.

    We need to bypass the search results page where it shows the Show All button. This adds an extra, unnecessary, step to searching which would reduce sales.
