It seems every time i go to update to a newer version of your theme, i lose all my font settings, along with other setting on the page.

I follow your instructional video as to how to update the theme, by overwriting the older version with the newer version Via FTP. Than i save settings in theme, & after that update the plug-ins.

Am i doing somthing wrong here, i’ve tested on my test page however i need to update my clients page and i cant do it with confidence at the moment.

    Any insight?

    Thanks in advance -Lee

    Hello,

Please provide us with the site name you have problem with and give us FTP/WP Dashboard credentials.
Also describe what settings exactly are changed after update.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

Not a big fan of supplying credentials to a site i don’t technically own. I figure you can understand, i’d like to keep my clients personal information kept personal.

With that being said here’s my issue.

After update, Font settings are gone, menu settings are changed, & the site doesn’t appear the way it is currently set up.

I guess what i am asking is am i missing a step with the update process?

Please keep in mind I’ve watched your how to video multiple times.

I upload the new version of Royal to the hosting & have selected Overwrite. Once this is completed i go to the theme options page and hit save via wordpress dashboard. Than i proceed to update plug-ins Via the hosting. Same process as updating the theme files.

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

Sorry, but we can’t help you without accesses. It’s difficult to investigate the problem not seeing site and settings in WP Dashboard.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

I understand it’s difficult to answer a question with out credentials to see the issue. However you completely disregarded the question i did ask.

Thanks for not answering my question & replying with a generic can’t help you response.

    Hello,

    You made everything correctly.
We can’t tell you the reason what was wrong. Sorry.
Such issues didn’t happen on our testing sites.
Perhaps there were some problems on your server, you can check error_log file for your site to find what went wrong.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
