Hi there, getting to grips with the Royal theme. Seems great but how do I add social media icons to the top bar of the royal theme that link directly to my social media accounts? Thanks

    Hello,

Please add Text Widget with [share] content into ‘Left side top bar area’ or ‘Right side top bar area’ in Appearance->Widgets.

    Regards,

Helo Robert, yes that works – many thanks. 1 last question – if I apply an update to the theme will these settings be overwritten? I have a child-theme in place but this file we have updated is in the parent theme?

    Many thanks

    Hello,

to avoid losing your customization on theme update please copy edited files to child theme folder.

    Regards,
    Stan Russell.
