Revolution slider not working properly - by dataogregnskap

Hello.

I have installed the XSTORE theme, and most of it works well, except from the Revolution Slider.
All system requirements are good, the plugin works, but still it can not find the the slider theme.

The error says: Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias home-cosmetics not found..

Trying to import the slider.zip from the theme gives me:

importing slider settings and data…
Error: Can not create directory
Go Back

I have given write-access to all thinkable folder, but still a no-go. Tried to find solutions in forum and on the we but without success. Any hints?

We can’t replicate such problem on our test installs. Could you provide as with temporary access and we’ll take a closer look? Provide, please

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Hello,

Please, check the credentials you provided. We can’t login into WP Dashboard and get error while trying to connect to your server via FTP
Status: Connection attempt failed with “ECONNREFUSED – Connection refused by server”.
Error: Could not connect to server

We need only FTP access at present, not SSH or access to you DB!

Problem with Revolution Slider is related to security settings or permission errors on the server. For this particular instance it’s best to contact your hosting provider and ask them to verify that your file permissions are set correctly on the server and to make sure there isn’t any ModSecurity conflict that is triggered when trying to import the sliders ( which can be fixed by writing to your hosting support team and asking them to whitelist the ModSecurity rules on your domain).

Shop, Cart, Checkout, My Account are special WooCommerce pages https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-pages/

Settings for the Shop page you can find in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display http://prntscr.com/c6q5bs and additional options in Theme Options > E-Commerce > Shop & Product Page Lyout.

Thank you for your response.
I will try to contact with the host for problem one.

Talking about the “shop page” it is not the shop itself, but on the same page there are other elements that I can not seem to edit, not in the two settings mentioned above either. Seems to be some kind of widget but I can not find it.

Just tested the credentials for WP. They are good now.

Got it. Could you explain me your issues with Shop page? Do you want to edit sidebar http://prntscr.com/c6qwsr ? You can do this in Appearance > Widgets > Shop sidebar.
